Pulse Export Questions

We supply Canadian Red, Green, and Black Lentils, Yellow and Green Peas, and Dry Beans including Navy White, Pinto, Black, Kidney, and Cranberry. Whole, split, dehulled, flour, and custom-packed formats are available as agreed. Specialty classes depend on the crop year.

We supply bulk quantities, bulk-bag totes, and smaller lots in client-specific bags. Optional branding is available to suit the buyer and the destination market. Artwork and bag specs are agreed before packing.

Yes. We send representative samples of the offered lot or of current-crop quality. A sample is a guide, not a substitute for the contract specification.

Contact us with your crop, format, packing, and destination so we can confirm the minimum for the available lot. Trial quantities can be discussed for first-time buyers.

Yes, when the contract names the agency and who pays. Inspection is booked against the packed lot, not a display sample. Under GPC Pulses Contract No. 1, an official or independent inspector certificate is typically final as to shipped quality unless the recap says otherwise. Organic lots only from certified supply.

As specified in the contract: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin (including CUSMA origin certification where the cargo is wholly obtained in Canada and the importer claims preference), CFIA phytosanitary certificate, fumigation certificate where the destination requires it, and CGC or other grade and weight certificates. Residue or quality analysis by agreement. A CBSA export declaration is filed for commercial shipments leaving Canada for destinations other than the United States.

Delivery terms are FCA (Free Carrier), FOB, CFR, CIF, and DAP, as agreed. The contracted term determines responsibilities alongside the specified export documents.

Offers are based on current origin values, grade, packing, freight, and currency. Quoted in USD unless another currency is agreed. Validity is stated on the recap. The contract form is named on the recap, GPC Pulses Contract No. 1 or another agreed form. Payment is by letter of credit, telegraphic transfer, or another instrument named in the contract. Terms are written before the cargo moves.

The recap names the form. We work on GPC Pulses Contract No. 1, the standard contract of the Global Pulse Confederation, or on another form both parties accept. Quality, weight, documents, force majeure, and dispute resolution follow that form. Program pricing is a separate commercial discussion: volume, shipment calendar, and basis risk must be defined.
