Quality & Traceability

Specified in the contract.
Verified in the lot.

International Pulse trade runs on grade. A sample that looks good and a cargo that arrives off-spec are not the same product. Our quality system is built so the two match.

Quality & Traceability

Grade, inspection, and
documents.

Canadian Pulses are graded to the Canadian Grain Commission Official Grain Grading Guide unless the contract sets a buyer specification. Vessel shipments from Canadian terminals generally require a CGC Certificate Final. Container lots follow the inspection method named in the contract. Plant-health certificates are issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Destination rules on phytosanitary statements, fumigation, residue limits, and labelling are confirmed with the importer before packing. Where a buyer’s own specification governs, that specification is the contract.

Delivery terms: FCA (Free Carrier), FOB, CFR, CIF, and DAP, as agreed on the offer. Shipping documents and inspection requirements are confirmed against the contract and destination.

Grade & Class

Crop class, agreed grade, colour, and contrasting classes where relevant.

Physical Quality

Moisture, foreign material, dockage, splits, cracked seed, and damage.

Lot Records

Lot identity, packing, and weight from intake through load-out.

Export Documents

Agreed COA, CFIA phytosanitary and origin documents, invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and grade or weight certificates. Inspection and documentation requirements are confirmed for the shipment. Vessel shipments can include official grade and weight certificates when required by the agreed shipment terms.

Destination Requirements

Destination rules on phytosanitary statements, fumigation, residue limits, and labelling are confirmed with the importer before packing. Where the buyer’s own specification governs, it is the contract.

Inspection

Container inspection follows the agreed method. Independent inspection is named in the contract.

Traceability

A trail from intake to load-out.

Lots are identified from farm intake through processing and load-out. Because our supply rests on standing relationships with Prairie growers, we can often support grower-group or elevator-origin identity when a buyer program requires it. That requirement is set at contracting, not after the grain is commingled.
