VALUE ENHANCEMENT | TRUST
Primary Pulses leave the farm as seed. Buyers rarely want them that way. Value enhancement is the work between the bin and the bill of lading: removing what does not belong, separating what does, and presenting the crop in the form your process requires.
OUR APPROACH
Importers, wholesalers, Dal millers, canners, food manufacturers, feed blenders, and distributors. Container programs and smaller branded-bag lots. One Canadian counterparty from farm to documents.
Delivery terms: FCA (Free Carrier), FOB, CFR, CIF, and DAP, as agreed on the offer. Shipping documents and inspection requirements are confirmed against the contract and destination.
Crop and class (for example Red whole, Laird, Yellow Pea, Navy Bean), tonnes, grade or spec, pack, destination port, Incoterm.
Priced recap with specification, pack, shipment window, Incoterm, and the contract form (GPC Pulses Contract No. 1 or another agreed form). Inquiries are taken around the clock.
Sample if required; pre-shipment inspection and certificate of analysis when the contract names them.
Against the locked spec.
COA, CFIA phytosanitary, fumigation certificate if required, certificate of origin, packing list, invoice, bill of lading, CGC or other grade/weight certificate.
Cargo moves on the contracted Incoterm. Settlement by letter of credit, telegraphic transfer, or another instrument named in the contract.
PREPARED TO YOUR SPECIFICATION
We clean, sort, and grade to contract specification using specialized equipment: aspiration, screening, gravity separation, and optical colour sorting to remove dockage, off-types, damaged seed, and foreign material. The goal is a stable grade that matches the spec, not a pretty sample.
We use calibrated screens and length graders so a lot meets a size band, which is important for Lentils, Peas destined for splitting, and canning Beans.
Pulse flours and grits for bakers, snack producers, pasta makers, and protein/starch programs. Particle size and protein content can be specified when the plant allows.
We supply bulk volumes and also pack into bulk-bag totes and smaller client-specific bags. Optional branding is available so the bag suits the buyer and the destination market. Packing and branding requirements are agreed before shipment.
Removal of the seed coat and splitting of the cotyledon to produce Dal-style products: split Red Lentils, split Yellow Peas, and related formats used across South Asia, the Middle East, and ingredient plants.
Segregated handling for customers who need a defined origin, variety, or process, organic, specific variety, or a multi-shipment program with a locked spec.
